Someone had a great idea to leave the covers off on the main ground to let the wind dry out the pitch. The incessant rain overnight meant that this tactic ended any hopes of play on the main pitch. Unfortunately a heavy rain shower at 1030 followed by another one at 1200 saturated the ground on the second pitch and it was obvious that play would not be possible.

Thanks to Tom for organising again – shame the weather intervened.
